Week of April 6-10 Zoom week 2

Here are some important reminders for this week:

1.  Here is a link with some information about the Super Pink Moon which will be visible on April 7th.  Very cool!
[This Week's 'Super Pink Moon' Will Be The Biggest And Best Of 2020. Here's How To See It From Home] http://va.newsrepublic.net/al/hcUYRh

2.  Mystery Doug is hosting a special presentation April 7th at 1:00.  Here is the information.
Mystery Doug Livestream
Tuesday, April 7 at 10 am Pacific / 1 pm Eastern

3.  Please be sure your child continues to practice x facts daily.  In your packet I included enough timed tests for 2 per week plus 1 multiplication table per week.  Instructions for giving the quiz are attached to the front of the papers.  Your kids know exactly what to do.  They have made so much progress and I don't want them to lose it.

4.  Don't forget to check the Enrichment Teachers' Blogs for videos of lessons for your child.

5.  Remember, no school (or Zoom) on April 10 - 14.  We will resume lessons on April 15 and I will send a new Zoom invite to the email addresses you provided.  The invite you are using now expires after the lesson on the 9th.

Please do not hesitate to email with any questions.  Stay safe!

Zoom Information

Dear Parents,

Grades K-3 have been working diligently to acclimate ourselves in the virtual
learning format ZOOM.  Please be patient as we all adjust to this style of
teaching and learning.

A few reminders:
  • Please do not work ahead in the packets sent home.
  • Projects are meant to be spread out over a period of time.
  • If for some unforeseen reason the teacher can not log on, she will email you to alert you of technical difficulties.
  • Please remember to check the enrichment classes’ individual blogs for weekly videos and activities.
  • We will be available once a week to meet individually from 1:00-3:00 if needed.  Please schedule with your child’s teacher 24 hours in advance.
  • Check your child’s classroom blog for materials needed for that day’s ZOOM session.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation,
Mrs. Crocker
